It all started when I came across a petpage that had a glitter tutorial. I was immediately interested in making the glitters (at the time I called them sparkle images). I was furious when I found out that I couldn't make them on MS paint. So I downloaded the trial versions of Paint Shop Pro X and Animation Shop 3. I decided to put up all the glitters I made on my petpage. After about 3 requests I was overly excited, and my petpage was full, so demanded a website. My dad signed my up for a free one. It honestly wasn't that great. I practically went rampaging when I wasn't getting very many page views. So once again, I demanded a real website. My dad and I finally found an extreamly inexpencive host and set up a website. The only problem was...I didn't have a name for it! I thought of names like faerieneo and holidayneo, but my dad said to pick a name that I could use for anything, not just neopets. And since I liked owls (and I still do) I wanted the word owl in it. And owls come out at night, so I decided Midnight-Owl.net. But by then my trials were expired so we had to go out and buy those two programs. I had my website down for about 1 or 2 years, furiously making graphics almost every day. I was going to launch my website when all of a sudden - BAM!!! Neopets decides to get a new layout! And without any warning to all of the poor neopians! And worst of all, my favorite website had shut down all because of that! I thought about going on strike, but what was that worth? So I decided to get revenge on them in a different way. I would show neopets that they could shut everyone down! Oh no sir-ee! I was going to open my website. And so I did, on October 31, 2007. And there was the start of Midnight-Owl.net. I hope to never close this website. Ever ever ever! It's been such a wonderful, fun filled journey. We can't stop here! So there's no where to go but forward.
